Perplexing PaPa with Perplexus

Press Sample

Mister loves puzzles… of all kinds.  Whether a board puzzle, jigsaw puzzle, or word puzzle, Perplexing PaPa with Perplexusthey are all right up his alley.  I knew, then, that he would love the Perplexus Original from Patch Products!

Perplexus is a maze game in which the player maneuvers a small marble around barriers inside a transparent sphere. Unlike traditional flat-surface mazes that are composed of one path, Perplexus houses various challenging tracks with 100 barriers providing a challenging three-dimensional experience.

Players can select which track they would like to attempt (in this case, track 1, 2, or 3) and must work with gravity to carefully shift, flip and twist the sphere to guide the marble. Perplexus

In Mister’s opinion, the Perplexus Original is by far one of the best things I have EVER gotten for review.  His five year old review is: “This thing is AWESOME, Mom!”  Starting at #1, he is able to get to #66, but consistently gets off track trying to get to 67.  That doesn’t stop him from trying, though.  He will literally spend thirty minutes trying again and again to get from 66 to 67.  I love that the Perplexus Original encourages him to think, strategize, and problem solve.  What more can you ask for in a toy?

He spent about twenty minutes, one afternoon, showing my Dad how to play.  PaPa couldn’t get the hang of it.

Of course, he’s already asked me to get him the Perplexus Twist and Perplexus Epic! He said, “By the time they come in, Mom, I’ll have this one mastered.”  I love his confidence!
