Parasheet Blanket

We don’t get to the beach often since we live in the Midwest.  We do, though, enjoy spending time outdoors, whether in the backyard or at the park, and we enjoy camping.  With Little Grand Trunk LogoMiss on the way, I started thinking about our outdoor time this summer.  I don’t want Little Miss to have to spend all her time in the stroller when we go outdoors.  I also know that babies put everything in their mouths that they can get their hands on.  I’m not real big on the idea of my wee one tasting grass, so I need a good ground cover.

When Mister and Sister were younger, I used blankets on the ground, but it wasn’t always convenient to lug a big ole blanket out of the van with a stroller and kids in tow.  I wanted something more portable and convenient this time around.  I found the Parasheet Beach & Picnic Blanket by Grand Trunk. SCORE.

The Parasheet Beach & Picnic Blanket is made of parachute nylon, is super lightweight, shakes clean easily, and is machine washable.  Plus, it’s mildew resistant.

Parasheet Blanket

The Parasheet Blanket is 7’x7’, has sand pockets on the bottom (that you can fill with sand to weigh it down) and stake down loops in case you don’t have any sand.  The really cool part is that it completely packs back into its attached built-in stuff sack.

Sister had fun testing out the Parasheet Blanket! I can’t wait to take the kids to the park with it this summer.  I can watch Mister and Sister play, while Little Miss and I hang out together on it.

Grand Trunk makes outdoor gear that makes the outdoors greater!
