Nicki’s Diapers

Press Sample

Nicki’s Diapers is a name I’ve seen around quite a bit in the cloth diaper world.  Nicki started the cloth diaper business, and later her husband, Jesse, came on board.  They work Nicki's Diaperstogether, as a team, to provide quality products with superior customer service while being environmentally responsible and maintaining top notch social business practices.  Nicki’s Diapers recently sent me one of their Imagine One Size Stay-Dry All In One Cloth Diapers for review.

The Imagine OS AIO diaper is lined with polar fleece and the outer shell is waterproof.  It has a snap-in 4-layer microfiber soaker pad, that is topped with polar fleece, to keep baby dry.  It has gentle leg casings to prevent leaks and keep baby comfortable.

I received the Imagine OS AIO in the raspberry color with snaps (available in hook/loop closure as well). It also comes in emerald, marigold, indigo, and snow colors.

Imagine AIO OS

The Imagine AIO comes with three rise settings (1st row: small 8-15 pounds, 2nd row: medium 15-23 pounds, 3rd row: large 23-35 pounds).  Since Little Miss is a newbie, we had to use it on the smallest setting.  She still has tiny thighs (imagine that) so there was a small gap on one leg the first time we used it, but I was able to pull it tight by tucking up around her hip area.  Even still, we had no leaks that time around.  It’s been through the wash several times now, and washes up very well.  We have tumbled it dry on delicate and dried it on the shower rod in the bathroom (it’s been rainy here) and either way it has remained soft.

I would personally call the Imagine AIO an All in Two (AI2) since the soaker pad snaps in and “all-in-one” means everything you need is in one piece.  I don’t really care about semantics, though, and all that really matters is whether or not the diaper keeps baby dry and keeps baby’s clothes dry.  It does.  This is one diaper that will have a long life in our diaper rotation!

  1. wow I dont get it. I have approached ND before and they told me that they dont do giveaways on blogs period. this is the first I’ve seen in a while, but have seen them periodically. I wonder if my email just reached the wrong person? ah well.

    • Hi Jill – I found an email from a couple years ago from you (technology is amazing!). We don’t do blog product reviews on discontinued products but we’re happy to have folks review our Best Bottom diaper system or our Imagine Baby Products line. Drop us an email at 🙂

  2. Mary Schuh says:

I’m curious as to how the “polar fleece” differs from other fleece, if it does. I’ve only ever read about microfleece. Do they have any inserts that aren’t microfiber, like bamboo?

  3. Lauren Powell says:

I have been wanting to try the imagine products and I have recently ordered from nikis diapers. For the first time and I have to say I will be back. The shipping and Customer service was fast and friendly and I was very impressed. Plus I found they had more deals and better prices than others!!

I have never tried any Imagine products before, but they seem like a very affordable diapering option! I love the color of the diaper reviewed!

  9. I’ve heard so much positive feedback about bamboo that I think I’d spring for the bamboo version! Still a pretty affordable option!

  10. Wow, I’m surprised how trim this looks for a one-size diaper. I love Nicki’s Diapers Best Bottom system. I might have to check into the Imagine line for the next kiddo.
