My Little Pony Friendship Express Train

I recently received an email inquiring if I would be interested in reviewing the My Little Pony Friendship Express Train from HasbroMy Little Pony Friendship Express TrainUm. Yes.  I will review anything My Little Pony that Hasbro wants to send my way!

You may recall (from this post) that Sister is a HUGE My Little Pony Fan.  She loves anything that has to do with horses, and her MLP’s are her go-to-toy.  She wags those things everywhere.

I just knew Sister would swoon over the train for three reasons… 1) It’s My Little Pony. 2) it’s pink AND purple, and 3) it’s My Little Pony.  Needless to say, I immediately said yes!  Of course, my assent had absolutely nothing to do with my desire to play with the track myself… LOL.

About the My Little Pony Friendship Express Train

Let your imagination explore as you take an enchanting trip on-board the My Little Pony Friendship Express Train.  Ponies can hop a ride on the colorful caboose and tour the town with the motorized engine car, complete with a snug seat for PINKIE PIE to play conductor!  Simply click seven lavender tracks together (in various configurations) and tour away, transporting your ponies (and other animal friends) on non-stop adventures!

Train set includes 7-piece track, a PINKIE PIE pony figure, motorized engine, railroad cart and sticker labels. Requires two “AA” batteries, not included. Available at most major toy retailers nationwide, on, and on Amazon.

Like I said, I knew that Sister would absolutely adore the MLP Train Set.  I didn’t, however, anticipate that Mister would be enthralled with it, or that Sister would be so enamored when I took it out of the box that I wouldn’t even get to apply the stickers before she pulled out of the station!

For some reason, I see more My Little Pony Friendship Express Train Cars in our future!  Now just to get this away from her long enough to put the stickers on! LOL.  The only thing I would change about this fun filled toy is that in addition to making the track reconfigurable, I would make additional track pieces available, separately, so that it could be expanded.

  1. That’s the first train set I’ve seen for girls. My daughter would love it. Hmmmm. Her birthday is coming up soon.

  2. I love My Little Pony! This train set looks like SO much fun!

  3. THis looks like so much fun!

  4. Not that girls can’t play with trains anyway, but a girly train set is just too cool!

  5. I remember I usually took the toy train of my brothers because I didn’t have one for myself as toy trains aren’t for girls (so they say). I always felt envious because they get to place those tracks on our living room and all I could do was watch. LOL. At least now, everyone can enjoy their toy trains.
