My kids love bowling!

A few days ago, I posted about the Kids Bowl Free summer program that you can sign up for at

Well, I took my two toddlers bowling for the first time ever… and they LOVED it!

Mister was very serious about positioning the ball

Because the bowling alley we went to does not carry toddler bowling shoes, we didn’t have to rent shoes.  Which means our adventure was free (unless you count the $1.79 I spent on a cup of coffee).

After we got home, Mister and Sister actually played with their toy bowling set.  They haven’t played with it FOREVER.

Did you know that bowling is actually a great way to teach your toddlers about cause and effect and improves their coordination?

I can’t wait to take them again.

Be blessed,

Lady V dZine

  2. My kids love bowling too. And it is such an affordable night out we can do it often.

  3. I’ve never even considered bowling with my daughter. I’m going to check out the program. Hopefully there is something in my neighborhood.

  4. Hunter has been bowling at a tiny little bowling alley. It was at the Space Odyssey place in NJ. they had a ton of different things. But when my mom had Hunter for the day and they went to pick up my brother’s GF to change jobs, she went from the bowling alley to Subway, Hunter wanted to bowl! So I guess it made an impression on him. We should really take him again.

  5. It looks like so much fun!
