I am joining a whole host of other designers on the road to chronicling our lives by taking a photo a day. I actually started thinking about this back in October, but thought I was just being silly. Then I realized that a lot of other people do it also. So… here we go!
As many of you know, my husband and I are in the process of adopting. Our new baby is due any time now, so, I was sorting through baby clothes and trying to get the new baby’s room in order. Mister decided that the box shouldn’t be empty, so he climbed right in. He has a thing about climbing in boxes right now.
And for those of you that are really observant– no– that is not a boogie in his nose. It is a sponge that is holding his tear duct stint in place. It pops out of his nose as least a few times a day when he sneezes. Fun fun. Then I have to use a Bionix Infant Ear Scoop to poke it back in… here’s what it looks like.
Oh, don’t worry. I’m used to it. Z’s nostrils were so small when he was younger that a bulb syringe wouldn’t work on him. We’ve been using the boogie picks since he was a week old. Course, until he had the tear duct stints put in, I only used the scoops to pick things out of his nose. Now, I use them to pick things out and stuff things in. Thank God for medical inventions, huh?
Well, I’m off.
