Menu Monday 01-16-12

Okay, we are moving into our third week of family menu planning.  Hubs has been a huge help, and our grocery bill is certainly appreciative.  Plus, I don’t have the stress of “What’s For Dinner” every night!  I like this.  Last week didn’t go down exactly as planned… however, it went well.  It snowed on Thursday, and I was in the mood for grilled cheese, so I moved Saturday’s dinner to Thursday.  Hubs ate a big lunch at work on Friday, so we did leftovers on Friday evening, and then Saturday we went to a friends football party, where we had dinner.  That moved the eggs and fruit pizza to Sunday.  Ahhh.  Still with me?  So… this week, we have…

meal planning

Monday- Cranberry chicken with salad (Cranberry Chicken Recipe)
Tuesday- Hawaiian venison with carrots. This is a
Wednesday- Leftovers
Thursday- Chicken Nachos with refried beans.  The chicken nachos is a new recipe, so I will share if it goes well.
Friday- Date Night- kids will have mac n cheese with mini hotdogs or crescent pizza rolls (which I found on pinterest)
Saturday- Leftovers or Sandwiches
Sunday- Dinner at church for annual business meeting

Would you look at that?  IF everything goes according to plan, I won’t have to cook four out of the seven nights!  WAHOO!
