Meet Me in #StLouis, Mickey!

On Wednesday, September 14th at 10 a.m., St. Louisans will have the opportunity to celebrate Mickey style as the newly designed Disney Store has its Grand Opening at the Saint Louis Galleria.

Translucent Magical Trees

Saint Louis Galleria is the first newly-designed Disney Store to open in Missouri, and it will provide an interactive shopping destination and magical experiences for Disney fans of all ages.  Disney Store’s new design aims to deliver “the best 30 minutes of a child’s day” through immersive experiences, including a Disney Princess Castle with Magic Mirror and Translucent Magical Trees.  It will also have Disney●Pixar CARS neighborhood and the Disney Store Theatre, featuring the latest in Disney entertainment.

The opening ceremony is at 10 a.m. One lucky child will get to “unlock imagination” and the first 250 guests to receive free Mickey ears!

The newest Disney Store fragrance, Pixie Dust, will also launch at the St. Louis location, providing guests with a wide range of Disney-inspired lifestyle products.

The St. Louis store joins the growing list of newly-designed stores already opened around the world, including a location in New York’s Times Square. By the end of 2011, the specialty retailer will have 60 new concept stores in 16 major cities in North America and eight countries.

With each new store opening in the United States and Canada in 2011, Disney Store will donate 10 percent of the first day’s sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Yes, you read that correctly.  Disney Store will donate TEN PERCENT of the sales from September 14th at the St. Louis location to the Make-A-Wish Foundation!

How sweet is that!  I have a special place in my heart for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, so I just think that is awesome!

I will be at the Grand Opening with my Mickey Ears on, how about you?
