Liane Fried Studio Review

What little girl doesn’t like a touch of whimsy and wings in her bedroom?  When I saw the Butterfly Wall Clock by Liane Fried Studio, I had to have it for Sister’s room.  I knew it would compliment the butterfly motif we have in her room already, and it is whimsical enough that I am certain she will keep it on display for years to come.  The wall clocks by Liane Fried are 8.5 inches round and run on a AA battery and has a hook on the back for hanging.  Liane Fried’s original illustrations are hand printed onto a glossy ceramic like surface to create these gorgeous time trackers.  The clocks are each signed on the back by Liane.

Check it out!  Isn’t it cute with the wooden butterflies that my Mom and I painted before Sister was born?

About Liane Fried Studio… Liane Fried is a professional illustrator (since 1976) and world traveler.  In 1990, she moved to update NY with her husband and quickly became bored because she didn’t have any family or friends nearby and didn’t have a job.  To escape her boredom, she began playing with polymer clay and creating whimsical animals and divas.  She created some designs that reflected her illustration background and love of color, which she showed to local gallery owners and Museum Shop.  They encouraged her to sell her work in their stores, and a new career took flight.  She has now returned to her illustrator/designer roots, after many years of designing and producing jewelry, and offers a line of quirky and colorful home decor and gift items.  She is constantly adding new products to her line and will soon be adding night lights and ornaments.

  1. Wow, these are exceptionally pretty. I would buy them if I had a daughter, but I’m actually thinking to check him out for my niece. She has a very feminine room, and that butterfly clock would look great there. The magnets are great too (our kiddies are at an age where they love to play with the magnets on the fridge, and these are just amazing!)

  2. Thanks Penelope. I offer a lot of different clock designs, some for boys. Lots of other magnets besides the ones pictured. Please visit my web site for a more complete showing of my work. Thanks!
