You all know how much we love our Jeep strollers. We have the Jeep Wrangler All-Weather Umbrella Stroller and the Jeep Liberty Sport X All Terrain Stroller. I love that they are durable and rugged, but that they also look nice and are lightweight. We use our Jeep Liberty Sport X All Terrain Stroller for when we go on family runs and the Jeep Wrangler All-Weather Umbrella Stroller for quick trips to the mall. We wanted something for longer family excursions that didn’t require the all terrain stroller, so I was ecstatic to see the new Jeep Cherokee Sport Stroller, which we received for review. I wanted something that was lightweight, like our umbrella stroller, but that had a big basket and child tray, like our all terrain stroller.
The Jeep Cherokee Sport Stroller is definitely designed for someone that has a family that is always on the go. It is comparable in size and weight to the umbrella stroller, but has all the feature that parents want for every day use, like dual cup holders for the parents and that extra big basket on the back. Since I have back problems, I need a stroller that is light weight, and this one only only weighs 11.8 lbs. That is seriously amazing and you only one hand to open it and it has self-standing fold. Pretty awesome from a product made by Jeep.
I mentioned the importance of the basket size. We cloth diaper, so our diaper bag is not small. For an all day outing, we typically have 5-6 cloth diapers, 2 changes of clothes, and a wet bag, not to mention all the other necessary baby must haves. The basket on the Jeep Cherokee Sport Stroller is easily accessible and big.
The big basket equals serious storage space! It is big enough to fit everything that you will need for your little one in it, even if you cloth diaper! We took it downtown when I did a 5K, and Hubs stuffed it to the gills with a days worth of diapers, all the snacks, jackets for everyone, sippy cups, water bottles, and the minky blanket… just in case!
The seat on the Jeep Cherokee Sport Stroller is multi-position so your little one can either sit all the way up or lay back and enjoy a nap. We’ve only used it upright, so far, but the multi-position recline is perfect for days when you will be on the go outside for a long period of time. Especially if your baby will nap while you’re out. Ours is scared she’ll miss something, so she goes into the cranky “I want to sleep but I might miss something if I do” routine. Funsville. The three-tier canopy gives sun coverage that is exceptional and even has a peek through window so you can check on your child whenever you need to. They can also see you!
Also, forget what you know about a stroller that might have one drink holder for you to use. This one has two. That means Hubs and I don’t have to fight over who gets to take their cup. LOL. It also has a parent tray and extra storage area that I have not even mentioned before. There is also a removable child’s tray that has a dual cup and juice box holder. The child tray is great, since Little Miss likes to try to look between the wheels of the umbrella stroller. This will keep me from scalping her as we walk. I have to say that I think that they thought of everything when they designed this one. The all terrain wheels and front suspension make for a ride that is super smooth and the adjustable five point harness ensures that your little one stays in the seat safely.
The Jeep Cherokee Sport Stroller is JPMA Certified and has a maximum child weight limit of 50 pounds, which means we will be able to use it for a long time. When Little Miss gets bigger, we’ll just remove the child tray so that she can climb in and out on her own. It does come with a one-year manufacturer warranty.
You can purchase the Jeep Cherokee Sport Stroller locally at Walmart stores or online at Walmart.com, Diapers.com. or Amazon.com. The MSRP is $59.99, but you can often find it for under $50 at Walmart. It’s a great stroller and would be an awesome baby shower gift for any expectant mom’s on your list!
