Pray for Japan

A friend of mine is in Japan as I write this.  She shared this video, via Vimeo, today.

Japan Earthquake – March 11, 2011 from Wade Yamaguchi on Vimeo.

The 8.9 magnitude earthquake and the 10-meter high tsunami devastated the country and the death toll is expected to exceed 1000 people.

Please pray for Japan.

  7. hope your friend is doing OK

  8. You bet I’m praying. It’s so heartbreaking, but I am grateful that Japan is one of the countries who was well prepared for things like this. At least we have that.

  9. Wow, that’s one of the best home videos of the BIG Japan earthquake. Gives you a good sense of the shaking. Most other home videos the camera moves around the room way too fast.

    Glad you friend is safe.

    THANKS!

  10. Thanks for the details. The people effected have a huge struggle ahead of them to rebuild their lives. The loss, especially of life, is astounding.

  11. Every day the news that comes out of Japan is more heartbreaking than the previous day. It’s just horrible. 🙁
