HeadCoolie

Since I’ll soon be signing up for sleepless nights, I know that chances are I will have more frequent headaches.  I tend to get them when I haven’t had any sleep, and I have a history of migraines.  Ouch. When it comes to having a little one, though, I hesitate to take medicine for headache relief.  I don’t want anything fogging my mind or clouding it.

headcoolie1HeadCoolie is a product that I wish I’d had during my recent hospitalization for the sinus infection.  On the Saturday of my stay, I woke up with a migraine that was most certainly served up from mine enemy.  It would not go away.  I was literally in bed the entire day, and couldn’t even open my eyes when the doctors came in to check on me. Finally after three doses of medications, and nearly twelve hours, I got some relief.  It was my worst migraine ever.

HeadCoolie would have been a great weapon in my migraine treatment arsenal that day!

I am pleased as punch that HeadCoolie offered to send a HeadCoolie to me for inclusion in the Baby Shower Gift Guide.  While it really isn’t appropriate for use on newborns, it’s extremely useful for Moms, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and it can be used on young children (to fight fever or headache) as well.
It can also be used to cool down after a workout or when spending time outdoors.  Considering two of us in this house are unable to sweat properly, I see us adding another HeadCoolie to our family medicine chest!

  1. this would have been so great for the kids in marching band!

  2. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I also get migraines so I would love to have one of these. I am like you as far as I hate taking medication because it makes me so groggy and I am basically walking in my sleep all day. Thanks for the review.
