Gifts for Mom- Keurig

Press Sample

I enjoy a good cup of coffee.  There was a time when I enjoyed a good pot of coffee.  With introducing green smoothies into my diet, though, I’ve found that all I need is one cup a day.  That is saying something, since I used to drink 6-10 cups of coffee each day.  I’ve wanted a Keurig for a long time, even had one on my wish list for the last two years, but it never made sense to get one when I drank SO MUCH coffee before.  Now, though, a Keurig makes perfect sense!

Keurig for Mom

I knew I wanted the Keurig Keurig® K65 Special Edition Brewing System.  A friend has one, and I enjoyed using it during the Super Bowl Game.  The ability to choose from three cup sizes (i.e. how strong do you want your coffee) is top notch.  Of course, the blue, backlit LCD display, the ability to program water temperature, set the digital clock and the auto on/off are nice, too.   I really wanted it because it’s black with chrome accents and would perfectly complement my kitchen counter.  I kid, I kid.  I really wanted it for the ability to choose from three cup sizes.

I won’t lie  I wasted NO time unboxing my new kitchen friend and brewing a cup.  It was SO nice.  Then, while I was gone at homeschool co-op, Hubs decided to get in on the K-Cup action and brew his favorite… hot cocoa.  He sent the picture to me, and I had to crack up laughing.  He is not much for coffee, but loves his hot cocoa!
