Flowers Make Me Smile

Receiving a bouquet flowers makes me smile.  I don’t know why, it just does.  Whether because I am enamored by the beauty of the blooms, or because I know that they represent the fact that someone thought of me and took the time to let me know, either way, they just make me smile.  I can be having the worst day possible, and will split a grin from ear to ear when flowers arrive.  I recently received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Send Flowers, that was arranged by a local florist.

And while this bouquet did not look like the bouquet I thought I would be getting, Send Flowers' Pink Celebration Bouquetand the vase was clear instead of the lovely pink fluted vase I had hoped for, the roses in this bouquet were absolutely gorgeous!  I absolutely LOVE duo-toned roses! I’m not certain what all of the other flowers were, but they were fragrant and beautiful.   I smiled as I placed them on the counter.

And then I laughed uproariously at the look on Hubs face when he came home and saw them, looking at them quizzically, wondering who in the world sent me flowers, since it had not been he.

Ah, good times.  As you know, Mother’s Day is fast approaching and is a great time to send flowers to your Mom or a mother-figure in your life.

What other occasions prompt you to send flowers?
