Crystal Light Pure Fitness Review

imageI struggle with drinking water.  I don’t like it.  By that I mean, I don’t like the taste of water (I prefer the taste of coffee).  To get myself to drink more water, I try to flavor it.  Which is why I was interested in the new Crystal Light Pure Fitness products.

About the product…

Crystal Light Pure Fitness is the first naturally sweetened, low-calorie fitness drink mix from Crystal Light.  It has no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavors, and no preservatives.

Crystal Light Pure Fitness comes in Lemon Lime, Strawberry Kiwi, and Grape flavors and contains electrolytes to aid hydration when you are on the go.  At just 15 calories per serving, it gives you a whole new way to hydrate.  Crystal Light Pure Fitness is sweetened with evaporated cane juice and Truvia (an all natural zero calorie sweetener derived from the Stevia plant).

What I thought…

Kraft Foods recently sent me samples of all three flavors of Crystal Light Pure Fitness to try out.  While all three flavors were good, my favorite was the Strawberry Kiwi.  My kids loved the grape.  I love that it mixes well with water, whether in a bottle or in a glass, and doesn’t clump or leave powder residue on the sides of the beverage container.  I also appreciate that I can carry a few in my purse or diaper bag and be able to drink water on the go.  Oh, and they are easy to open.

What I would change…

I wouldn’t change anything about the Crystal Light Pure Fitness flavors that I sampled.  I would love to see a few new flavors, though.  Perhaps Mango Peach?  Or Cherry Lime?  Or Raspberry Pomegranate? Mmmm.  Also, since fitness buffs are always trying to add fiber to their diet, maybe a few varieties with added fiber?

How I rate it…

  1. Crystal light is great! My OB/GYN even said that if I can’t stand the taste of water then Crystal Light is a good way to stay hydrated. I haven’t tried the pure fitness stuff though, must look into that 🙂
