Creative Fundraising for cHAIRity

As some of you may know, I used causes.com on Facebook to raise funds for the NFED for my birthday.  I was pretty impressed with the $200 something I raised from friends and family, to support a cause that is so close to my heart.

And then I learned of the Follicle Fate Fundraising cHAIRity fundraiser that a friend, Sean Vora, is doing through causes.com.  Sean had to grow his hair out for a research project, funded by Edimer Pharmaceuticals, and decided to get creative and start a fundraiser with it.  The top two donors will decide how Sean cuts his hair and beard at the end of the fundraiser, which concludes on July 31st.

This is Sean—>image_thumb[1]

He is one guy.

One very creative guy.

And to date, he has raised over $5700 to benefit the NFED.

Can he push over the $6000 mark?

Can you help him?

Some of you may have received an invitation from me on Facebook to join the cause.  If you haven’t, I invite you to now.

And, if you think you can forgo a movie night or dinner out this month, I would love it if you would donate to the cHAIRity.

I can’t wait until next week, and see what kind of crazy hairdo Sean has to sport in public for a week!

If you would like to learn more about the NFED, you can check out their website here.  I encourage you to check out the NFED Facebook Page and NFED Twitter feed as well.
