Cheribundi: funny name, yummy juice (review)

I recently received an opportunity to review Cheribundi.  Because I am always on the lookout for natural products that are healthy, I thought I would give it a try.

Cheribundi is an all natural juice drink that is packed with Montmorency cherries grown in Michigan and New York orchards.  It is packed with phytonutrients.  Phytonutrients are compounds that naturally occur in plants and provide a range of potential health benefits from promoting eye, bone and heart health to supporting immune and brain function.

There are currently three varieties of Cheribundi; Tru Cherry, Skinny Cherry, and Whey Cherry.

Tru Cherry™ is your cheribundi™ if you:

  • want to feel better so you can keep moving
  • have an active lifestyle or exercise regularly
  • eat balanced meals to get the nutrients your body needs

Tru Cherry™ offers you:

  • 50 cherries (1/2 pound of fruit)
  • 2 servings of fruit
  • an abundance of antioxidants and nutrients

Skinny Cherry™ is your cheribundi™ if you:

  • want great taste without too much sugar and unnecessary calories
  • have an active lifestyle or exercise regularly
  • eat balanced meals to get the nutrients your body needs

Skinny Cherry™ offers you:

  • 40 cherries
  • 90 calories (fewer than Tru Cherry™)
  • all-natural Stevia for a full, delicious taste
  • an abundance of antioxidants and nutrients

Whey Cherry™ is your cheribundi™ if you:

  • play sports competitively or for fun
  • train for athletic events from triathlons to fun runs
  • eat balanced meals to get the nutrients your body needs

Whey Cherry™ offers you:

  • 45 cherries
  • 8 grams of whey protein
  • a powerful ratio of nutrients, carbs and protein

I received the Tru Cherry 4-pack to sample.

What I love…

I love that Cheribundi is made from fresh cherries, not from concentrate.  I also appreciate the short list of ingredients in Cheribundi (cherry juice, water, apple juice—as a sweetener).   The Cheribundi packs a powerful punch in flavor.  It is tart, yet sweet.  I enjoyed one bottle and started another, but didn’t get to finish it because my kids discovered it.  They finished the four pack and really liked it.

What I would change…

There are no retailers within 250 miles of my home, which means if I were to purchase it, I would have to do mail-order.   When I want juice, I want to be able to drive to my local grocer and get it.

Where you can buy it…

Cheribundi is also hosting an iPad Sweepstakes for their Facebook Fans!  It’s their way of still loving an "apple a day" but knowing 50 cherries is better!  I certainly entered.  Will you?  Enter Cheribundi’s iPad Sweepstakes here.

Be blessed,
