Pink and Brown Crib Bedding plus Giveaway

Press Sample

When Hubs and I were trying to decide how to decorate the nursery, Hubs wanted modern crib bedding.  He wasn’t picky about colors, but he wanted it to have a modern vibe to it.  I spent what felt like an eternity pouring over crib bedding online.  Then I found a pink and brown baby bedding set by JoJo Designs that I adored.  When I showed it to Hubs, he said, “That’s the one.”

We like JoJo Designs and have their Deco Dot Bedding Set for Sister.  I briefly thought about getting the matching crib set for Little Miss, but decided to hold off, because by the time she is old enough to have an opinion AND they share a room, they may have different tastes.  So, pink and brown it is.

JoJo Crib Bedding

SO. Pretty! This 9 piece crib set came with a crib comforter that is designed with a pink and brown damask print in the center and an espresso brown border with pink satin ribbon trim.  The crib bumper is in the same materials and the design is the same on both sides, so it is reversible, and it ties on the top and bottom.  The set includes two window valances, a crib skirt, a 100% cotton espresso brown fitted crib sheet, a diaper stacker, a “toy bag” that has 4 pockets, and a decorative pillow.

I have the toy bag tied onto the end of the changing table right now (foot end) so I can put a couple rattles or what not in there for easy reach when I need to occupy Little Miss during a diaper change.  I haven’t quite figured out what to do with the matching bumper pads, since new the expanded set of guidelines released by the American Academy of Pediatrics, on safe sleep and SIDS prevention for babies, recommends against the use of crib bumper pads in infants’ cribs.  With Mister, we had to use the crib bumper pads because of his skin.  With Sister, we skipped them, and she did just fine.

So, what creative ideas do you have for me on how I can use the crib bumper pads?

Thermal-Aid Zoo

Have you heard of Thermal Aid Zoo yet?  No?  Where have you been?  Thermal-Aid Zoo Animals are sweeping the nation as the must have kids product. Thermal Aid Zoo Monkey

The Thermal-Aid Zoo animals are designed and developed for kids to relieve pain and/or fever.  They can be heated in the microwave, or chilled in the freezer, and are made from all natural materials.  They have been university tested and are recommended by doctors.

As parents, we want natural solutions for the things that ail our children.  Thermal-Aid Zoo Animals make it easier to treat our kids boo boos and ouchies, whether they need hot or cold therapy.  They are made of 100% cotton and stuffed with a specially engineered corn.  The corn has been de-germinated and can hold temperatures evenly for longer periods of time, making it ideal for use as a hot pack or cold pack. It also eliminates mold, fungi, and that nasty smell that so often goes with these types of heating products.  It can be used to treat fever, sunburn, muscle aches, earaches, headaches, bug bites, and so much more.

The really awesome thing about Thermal-Aid Zoo Animals is that they are washable (hand wash only, do not soak, do not machine wash, and do not dry clean), which means you can use it again and again.  Because they contain small pieces, children should be supervised when using the Thermal-Aid Zoo products.  Not recommended for children under three. Do not use with individuals that are allergic to corn.

Thermal-Aid Zoo provided us with the Thermal-Aid Zoo Monkey for inclusion in the Baby Shower Gift Guide!  Since it isn’t recommended for children under 3, Sister immediately tried to stake her claim.  She was a bit disappointed when I told her I was adding it to our medicine chest. “It’s not medicine, it’s a monkey” she said.  She’ll think differently when she needs it!

For a limited time, you can buy one get one for $14.95 at thermal-aid.com
