We recently visited a local Build-A-Bear Workshop and let the kids each select an animal to stuff.  Mister wasted no time and immediately chose this adorable black bear to stuff. I thought Sister would make a bee line for the Hello Kitty stuff, but she didn’t.  She didn’t choose a kitty or a bear!

Build a Bear Cookie

He named it Cookie, because Daddy suggested it (because Daddy wanted some cookies at the moment).   He’s had it for over a month and still sleeps with it every night. Un-bear-ably cute.

I can’t wait to go back!

What have your kids built at the Build-A-Bear Workshop?

About Virginia

Hi there! My name is Virginia, and I am the author/owner of That Bald Chick. I am a Christian, wife, mother of three, full time homemaker, homeschooler, and ministry volunteer in addition to being a blogger. In my free time *cough* I enjoy reading, writing, taking walks with my family, and listening to music.

  1. My kids have been to Build a Bear dozens of times, one of the great things about living in St. Louis is that they are everywhere, I like the one at the zoo best. 🙂

  2. My boys want to go to Build-a-Bear so bad! They absolutely love stuffed animals. One day my older son brought the class bear home for the weekend. My three year old ended up carrying it around everywhere and taking care of it when it was “sick”.

  3. Until recently I had never been in a Build A Bear until by best friend and I went Black Friday shopping. I was in heaven! I so want to take my daughter there and have her make one of these wonderful bears or stuffed animals. I love the picture of your child holding the bear, the smile on bear matches the smile on his face!

  4. My daughter went for a party at Build a Bear and she loves that one bear to bits!!

  5. We found a Build-a-Dino at Disney last Fall. My kids still want to go back! It was pretty awesome! Glad he’s happy with his bear!

  6. We’ve never been to Build-a-Bear! *shock*
There isn’t one nearby us, so it just hasn’t worked out yet. Before our oldest was born, their aunt claimed getting to take them to Build-a-Bear some day…she never went as a kid and still wants to get something for herself, too, LOL!

  7. So cute. I haven’t been to build a bear in a long time.
