You may remember that Sister couldn’t say Little Miss’ name when we first told the kids we were going to adopt again. For weeks, she called the baby “carrots.” I knew that I had to get Little Miss a carrot costume at some point to commemorate the early nickname. When I saw the hats, boots, and other knitted items by Danielle of Mama is a Hooker on Facebook, I knew she’d be the perfect person for the task, so I reached out to see if she could knit something up for me.
Danielle is quite possibly one of the most gracious Etsy store owners (see Mama is a Hooker on Etsy) I have ever had the pleasure of working with on a review. She whipped up a carrot pod and matching hat and sent them to me, along with a cute cute cute strawberry hat, that turned into some of the cutest pictures I have of Little Miss.
I’m not sure what kind of yarn she used, but it is incredibly soft! Little Miss just snuggled into the pod and snoozed. Danielle has also knitted some of the cutest boots, shoes, and hats I have ever seen. These are just a few from her Facebook album…
Oh, and the strawberry hat that she knitted? I’ll be giving that away right here!
Oh, and Danielle, I’m sorry it took me this long—>
