Babo Botanicals

When Mister was a baby, we were really limited in what baby wash products we could use on Babo Botanicalshim because of the skin erosions he had.  Sister came along just fourteen months later, so we just used on her what we could use on Mister.

With this baby, I don’t have the same limitations, so I’ve been exploring my options.  I found Babo Botanicals while searching for organic baby wash.  I like the idea of limiting the amount of synthetics that come into contact with baby skin, so I was impressed that Babo products are organic and specifically formulated for the sensitive skin of baby’s.

Babo Botanicals Oatmilk Calendula

We all know that I have sensitive skin and break out easily.  I tend to like to try anything new on myself before I try it on my kids, because I figure if I don’t break out, they won’t either.

Babo Botanicals sent me their Oatmilk Calendula Moisturizing Baby Bubble Bath & Wash and Oatmilk Calendula Moisturizing Baby Lotion for the Baby Shower Gift Guide.  The bubble bath is gently (and naturally) scented.  The moisturizing lotion is also naturally scented.

I used some of the moisturizing lotion on my arm, which is where I tend to break out if I’m going to have a reaction, and was pleased with the baby soft skin that resulted.  I liked that the lotion absorbed quickly and did not leave any greasy or tacky feeling behind.  I also let Sister use some on her hands, and she liked it.  Mister was not a fan of the scent of the lotion, which is a bit stronger than the scent of the bubble wash.

The Babo Botanicals Oatmilk Calendula Moisturizing Baby Lotion retails for $16.50 for an 8 ounce bottle, and the Babo Botanicals Oatmilk Calendula Bubble Bath & Wash retails for $16.95 for a 13.5 ounce bottle.

I can’t wait to use the Babo Botanicals on our new Little Miss!
