So, I entered a competition at Digi Scrapbook Mania and won a spot on their CT.
Why would I want to CT when I design, you ask? Well, simply put, it forces me to scrap and not just design. Additionally, I have focused more recently on producing the CU overlays for my store at Digital Scrap Designs, and haven’t done much in the way of kit designing. I have several kits in progress, just haven’t gotten around to finishing them. And in the meantime, I have pictures eating up my hard drive space that need to be scrapped.
So, I decided to enter the competition, and to my surprise, won.
That being said, here is my first official CT gig, the Back to School Collab Kit and Back to School Add On.
And here are the layouts that I created with it…
Valedictorian– I am very proud of the fact that I maintained a 4.0 while completing a B.S. in Christian Ministries at St. Louis Christian College. I was class valedictorian for the Adults in Ministry program, and graduated Cum Laude. Had I transferred a few less credits and completed them at SLCC, it would have been Summa Cum Laude. I was upset at first, that I didn’t get the “Summa,” but then my husband was like, “Honey, everyone will know that you made the grade, you are class valedictorian.” I guess standing in front of everyone at graduation and giving my little speech was a sort of consolation prize, but the summa woulda been verra nice.

Zane at 1 month. This is about the time the colic set in, hence the screaming pose. As I looked at that picture, I was simply astounded that I made it through that period! Four months of cyclical screaming can do a lot to make a person think they are losing it. Fortunately for me, God is gracious, and the sleep deprivation resulted in much of that time being a blur.
My nephew, Dyllan. He started an early childhood course at a very young age because of his hearing deficit. He doesn’t look old enough to be getting on a school bus, does he?
I can’t wait to play with some more kits, and get some of these pictures off my hard drive and on to disks!
