You all know how I feel about resolutions. Rather than making resolutions, I set SMART goals, because they work for me. SMART goals are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. Some of my SMART goals require that I break them down into smaller steps. Like my goal to to read 12 “good for me” and 12 “fun” books in 2014. That’s two books each month, one from each category. By breaking it down to two books a month, it is less intimidating than saying I want to read 24 books in 2014.
How are your resolutions, or goals, coming along? Do you need a restart?
Not so surprising, the makers of Joovy products agree with me that instead of beating yourself up about not keeping up with your BIG resolutions, we should set smaller, more realistic golas that are easy to accomplish. Check out the 2014 ResolutionsX2 resolutions from Joovy. There’s more than a few that I KNOW you can do!
