My Mom once hosted a Home Interior party when I was a little girl. I was very excited because I was allowed to sit in with the ladies as they viewed the products that night. They passed around a framed print and ooh’d and ahh’d over it.
I couldn’t yet read (which means I must have been about four years old), but that didn’t stop me from begging my Mama to get that print for me. It was a print of Proverbs 3:6, which says, “In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path.” That verse has been my Proverb for Life.
This past weekend, we drove through Pier Marquette to view the foliage and I snapped this photo. I couldn’t help but think it was the perfect picture for this Proverb.
I still have the framed print from that Home Interior show.
