Nivea for Men plus giveaway

Nivea sent some Nivea for Men Platinum Protect 3-in-1 deodorizing hair and body wash and some Nivea for Men lip balm for review.

First up, the shower gel. NIVEA FOR MEN Platinum Protect Deodorizing Body Wash – a 3-in-1 deodorizing hair, face and body wash with Smart Deo Technology removes dirt and odor causing substances while the intense foaming formula provides a Platinum-level clean without drying out your skin leaving a refreshing scent. The 3-in-1 stands for Shower, Shampoo, and Deodorize. The NIVEA FOR MEN Platinum Protect that I received is in the Ocean Burst scent. It is pH skin balanced.

The NIVEA FOR MEN Platinum Protect Deodorizing hair and body wash works well. It leaves me feeling clean and fresh. It easily cuts through nasty sweat and grease, while deodorizing at the same time. The body wash does not leave my skin dried out like other soap can. I’ve used it as a hair wash, too, which is consistent with its labeling. It will get your hair clean, but it doesn’t really leave it feeling soft as other shampoos would. I think the Ocean Burst scent is one of the better scents that NIVEA FOR MEN has out. It just has a deeper, more manly, of a scent to it. If I used it continually, I think my wife would be chasing after me cause she likes it so well. Overall, it is a great body wash for those guys who are looking for a bit less expensive body wash product.

NIVEA FOR MEN Replenishing Lip Balm SPF 4 provides long lasting moisturization without leaving a visible residue. It moisturizes and helps protect lips against sun and wind without shine or sticky residue. It has moisturizers Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil in it, is fragrance free, and provides SPF 4 protection.

The lip balm they sent me seems to work okay. It doesn’t leave a shine on the lips so it is virtually unnoticeable. This is a good thing since most guys don’t like to wear lip balm. It also doesn’t have a scent so you don’t have to worry about it smelling funny. It goes on smooth and doesn’t leave any extra residue on your lips like some other brands can. It kept my lips moist for several hours.

Overall, I really liked the NIVEA FOR MEN Platinum Protect Body Wash and will buy it again. I don’t typically use lip balm (ever), so this one will last me a long time. I would consider buying the NIVEA FOR MEN Replenishing Lip Balm SPF 4 if I run out and planned a beach vacation.
