As you may well know, trying to eat more healthy is not always easy or convenient. Often times, I
find myself having to eat on the run, which is a sure fire way to sabotage any weight loss efforts. I’ve found, though, that if I keep healthier snacks around, and portable, it is SO much easier to stick to it.
I recently had the opportunity to review the Eco Fruit Tote from Bella Viva. Bella Viva Orchards are in Central Valley (Hughson), California, and they sell fresh and dried fruit, chocolate, and nuts. I figured one couldn’t go wrong with dried fruit and nuts, from a health conscious standpoint, so I agreed to the review.
While I knew that the Eco Fruit Tote would be coming with a selection of one pounds bags of dried yellow peaches, red flame seedless raisins, cashews, dried plums, almonds, apricots, and dried pears as well as 12 ounces of dried blueberries and 8 ounces each of dried yellow peaches and dried persimmons, I really had NO CLUE how much that was. I figured I’d get a dinky little tote with a few small bags of fruit. Let me tell you, there wasn’t any thing dinky about this bag or the selection of dried fruit and nuts in it!

Those are not dollar store cashews or almonds! I had never tasted a persimmon before, let alone a dried one, so I wasn’t sure what to think about those. The rest of it though… Oh My YUM!
Now I am trying to find some recipes to use dried fruit in, because I have way more than what I need. LOL. Got any great recipes?

I’ll be using it myself to bring goodies to my elderly Mom who loves the same things, especially the pistachios! I’m not sure if I put the right like link up…couldn’t really find an identifying like link after I ‘liked’.
I will be eating it myself but I am sure I will share with my hubby.
My husband and I would love this!
it is my husband (dried fruit nut) that will be enjoying it the most with me secondary
I’ve never tried a persimmon either, it looks interesting.
