Connect with K’Nex

Mister really enjoys building.  Hubs and Sister enjoy building as well.  Kid K'NexWhat better way for us all to spend time as a family than to spend time building together.   It’s easy to connect with K’Nex play sets, since they have so many fun building sets available.  From Lincoln Logs, to Sesame Street themed sets, to Monster Buddies building sets, K’Nex has something for the kid in all of us.

Mister and Sister both enjoy watching Sesame Street, so Bert, Ernie, and Elmo are always welcome here.  Of course, Cookie, Grover, and Abby Cadaby are welcome, as well.  LOL.

We added to our Sesame Street K’Nex with Elmo and Ernie in the Best Friends on the Farm Building Set.  Mister built them so quickly that Sister didn’t stand a chance!  Next.

As you know, Mister LOVES his Lincoln Logs.  He was pretty excited to get a new Lincoln Logs Cedar Creek Homestead set to build and to add to his ever burgeoning bin of logs.  Sister was pleased as punch that this set included a dog. She is an animal lover, no doubt.  Daddy was just happy to be building.

After we successfully built the homestead, Sister put the dog in the house.  She had to knock the house down to get him back out.  Mister built it a second time, then disassembled it and added the new set to his Lincoln Log bin.  He’s got quite the Lincoln Log collection going on.

After we finished with the Lincoln Logs, we had some monster building fun with the Kid K’Nex Monster Buddies Building Set

What a FUN afternoon!  Funnier still, is that Mister recognized the feet pieces from the Monster Buddies building set as the same kind that is used as the tail of the dragon in his Sesame Street Elmo Dragon Adventure Building Set.  Which is pretty cool, since he had lost the tail.

K’Nex and Kid K’Nex products are sold nationwide at Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, and other local retailers, as well as at Knex.com and on Amazon.

I really need to try these for my boys. My younger son LOVES his legos, but at just 24 months they sometimes frustrate him. I think he’d go crazy over the sesame street k’nex.
