As many of you know, my Mom had a heart attack on December 1st. What I didn’t tell you was that the morning of her heart attack, I dropped my husband off at the airport so that he could go to Saudi Arabia for work.
Mom continues to recover from her heart attack and has seen her primary care physician for follow up. Her new diabetic medication was changed, as the first one they put her on was causing her blood sugar to go too low.
Mister turned three on Tuesday.
Hubs came home on Thursday. He was supposed to be gone through the 15th, so I was extremely pleased to learn that he would be coming home early.
Hubs took Friday off of work, to recup and spend time with us. We made salt dough ornaments with the kidlets and had a lot of fun. Then Friday evening I went to the annual Ladies Christmas Party for my church. Ah, time without Hubs or the kidlets… such a sweet luxury!
We celebrated Mister’s birthday yesterday with a trip to America’s Incredible Pizza Company. Mister and Sister both thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and the mini-bowling. As he climbed in to bed last night, Mister said, “It was a fun day, Mommy,” which just melted my heart. Who knew six little words could make me feel so good!
This morning, we were greeted by a blanket of snow!
And I am now frantically trying to catch up with all things blog related.
To those of you who have e-mailed, Facebook’d, and tweeted to make sure I was okay… thank you! Your kindness warms my heart!
