Crafters Delight with Stash Books Review plus Giveaway

Hubs Grandma, Grandma Hig, made the most beautiful quilts.  We have several of the quilts that she made, and there is one on our bed almost year round.  She made quilts for each of the kids, and all of our Grandma Hig quilts will be treasured for a long time to come.

After Grandma Hig passed away, her sewing machine was passed along to me, along with her other sewing and quilting supplies.  What an honor it is to sit at her sewing desk and tinker around with a Singer.   While I’m certain anything I create at the sewing machine will pale in comparison, I would love to learn to quilt like Grandma did.

I have a quilting project in mind, and now I just need to break out the scissors and get to it.  I will definitely be using The Practical Guide to Patchwork as I muddle my way through my first quilt.
