Have you been to a Sears Outlet lately?

I am salivating over a new washer/dryer combo shown in this photo.

Of course, I would want it in blue or maybe black.  I love the red, but it just doesn’t fit our decor.  Then again, the wall paper trim does have some red in it.  Hmmm…

Here it is in blue…

Sears Outlet has some fantastic deals to celebrate Mother’s Day, sales run from May 6th-May 12th.  Merchandise and discounts vary by store.  If you go shopping, be sure to look for the ORANGE tags throughout the store and save up to 80% off.

Anyway, I will continue to dream about my new king size capacity washer… and fewer loads of kids clothes.  Meanwhile, if you check out their Mother’s Day sale, let me know what bargains you find!

I am extremely excited about this new book.  I’ve only read the first chapter, and I can’t wait to read the rest.

We recently had a minister visiting from World Indigenous Missions speak at our church.  He told of an instance where he was visiting a family and their cow started dieing.  Because he knew that he would be blamed if the cow died, he went out to pray for it.  The cow miraculously recovered and he was able to minister to the entire family because of it.

Since then, I’ve thought a lot more about being intentional about my faith.

I’m certain David Platt’s Radical will aid me in that.
