Sermon Series: Following Jesus

Pastor Mike started a new series today, called the Summer of Jesus.  Today’s sermon was about Jesus being the life of the party.  It is one that I will listen to multiple times.

Jardine's

I had always wanted to see a live Jazz performance.  My mother-in-law loves Jazz as well.  So, when I visited KCMO in 2005, we went to a cozy little jazz club called Jardine’s.  I fell in love with the music all over again.

The artwork on the walls at Jardine’s was phenomenal.  I couldn’t resist snapping shots of it before the evening music began.  I love how they capture the essence of the emotion that is conjured by jazz. 

The pianist, Joe Cartwright, is a legend in his own right in Kansas City.  His music is unbelievable.

If you are ever in Kansas City, Missouri, you should stop by Jardine’s.
