Scrapbook Elements Forum has a weekly Brag Book Challenge With Kim Hollibone and the current theme is “I’ve Been There!” I thought I would take advantage of the prompt to scrap a few places I’ve been…
Last weeks template I used to scrap this statue, which is in San Salvador, El Salvador. I went to El Salvador on several mission trips in 1997/1998. The statue is known as the Monumento Divino Salvador del Mundo, which translates “Monument of the Divine Savior of the World.” It is a gorgeous statue, and depicts Jesus Christ standing atop the globe.

This weeks template I used to scrap a hometown legend. The Legend of the Piasa is a local legend where I grew up, near Alton, IL. As legend has it, the legend of the bird like creature dates back to 1673. You can learn more here. I took my MIL/FIL on a Great River Road Tour back in 2005, and the painting on the bluffs is one of the attractions that we visited.

I missed the first couple of templates, but I look forward to the prompts to scrap the places I have been.
Be blessed!
