I just wanted to show off this layout that I did for the May Template Challenge over at Pretty Scrappy. 

Credits: Papers are my designs from the Lifting Hopes Charity Collab Kit; Frames are my designs for a kit in progress; Sunglasses are from a CU script by Cancer Moon Creations; Chains are from Mega Doodle Inspired’s CU Megachains.  Font is Times New Roman.

Anyway, if you go on over to the Challenge Your Gardening Skills section of the Pretty Scrappy forum, you can pick up the template that I used here from the May Template Challenge free and earn points toward products when you participate in the challenge.  You can earn 50 points per challenge that you participate in, and when you complete all challenges for the month, you get a bonus!

My brother, Darrel, is a graphic artist.  He and his friend, Jason, are also fight fans.  MMA style fights, that is.  So, they put their artistic ability together to form CAGEREADY Fight Wear. 

The one on the far right is my brother, and I scabbed the picture from their CAGEREADY site.

Darrel has been talking about the fights for a while now, so my husband and I decided to attend one Saturday night.

Let me tell you… we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

I took lots of pictures, but gave my camera card to my brother so he and Jason could check out my shots first, to see if they can use any of them for their business.  I will share some photos as soon as I can.

Not sure where my Dad got this picture that he sent to me (via e-mail) but it is one fantastic looking grill!

Now that is what I call ingenuity, hard work, and a whole lotta skill!

On close up view, the barrel actually reads “500 S&W Magnum.”  Hope the maker of the grill doesn’t run into any copyright issues with Smith & Wesson.
